The hard anodised surface is twice as hard as stainless steel, so it resists warping, flaking, and rust even after years of regular use — no need to replace it season after season. An aluminium core distributes heat evenly across the full 41 cm length, which means roasted vegetables colour uniformly and baked goods rise consistently without hot-spot burning in the centre. The tray is safe to use with metal spatulas and spoons, sparing you the worry of scratching a delicate coating. It handles temperatures up to 240°C (Gas Mark 9) and moves freely between the oven, grill, and gas, halogen, ceramic, or solid plate hobs — note it is not suitable for induction.
